Birth Chart Rectification consists in birth time verification. A Birth Chart is calculated with the information initially provided by the person (city, country, day, month, year and time of birth). This initial chart is used to verify the birth time provided by the person.
When a person does not know the birth time, it is possible to estimate it with enough accuracy through a longer procedure, as long as this person can provide a list of significant events in his/her life with the respective dates.
Why is Birth Chart Rectification needed?
Rectification is very important for an accurate astrological analysis, as all information obtained from such analysis is mainly based on birth place and birth time data. This information includes Birth Chart Interpretation, tendencies, predictions and all astrological consultation available.
Few people have a precise knowledge of their birth time. There are lots of reasons for that:
* birth
time is approximated to the nearest o'clock time (10 a.m., 9 p.m., etc)
* there is no reliable record or source reliability is unknown.
* nobody considered that information important
* even parents interested in Astrology may have not registered the birth
time of their children because of the circumstances of the moment.

How is the Birth Chart Rectification process?
A Birth Chart is calculated with the information initially provided by the
person, then certain specific tendencies found in such chart are verified
with the person. Therefore, it is necessary to exchange information with the
person interactively through a meeting, by phone or via tools

Messenger or Skype.
If the person does not know the birth time, a list of significant events in his/her life with the respective dates is also required.
The rectification session usually lasts half an hour. If the birth time is unknown, the process is longer, because an additional procedure is used to estimate it.
What should I do to get my Birth Chart rectified?
The Rectification of the Birth Chart only provides the corrected birth time. Therefore, a rectification is requested with the initial interpretation of the birth chart or a synastry. If the birth time is known or the uncertainty about it does not extend beyond 30 minutes, a basic rectification applies, otherwise, an extended rectification will be required.
